Is comedy cheaper than seeing a shrink? Aspiring stand-up comic and mother Sherry Shaw-Froggatt wants to find out in SHRINKAGE. Like many famous comedians, Sherry has manic depression, and looks to the cathartic world of stand-up comedy as an antidote. She dreams of performing at Just for Laughs, the worls's most prestigious comedy festival, which leads her on an unpredictable ride to laughter clubs in Nashville and rants with famous comics like Eric Idle, Kathy Kinney, Christopher Titus and Mike MacDonald. Using humour as ammunition, Sherry challenges the public to accept her illness, and proves that depression really can be a laughing matter!
