Thirteen-year-old Merel appears to be a model child. She is diligent in school and cares for her disabled brother at home.If there is anything different about Merel, it may be that she appears less mature than most of her classmates and doesn’t belong to a particular group or clique. None of this explains, however, why she becomes the target of some very nasty, insidious bullying. There comes a point when she must decide between allowing herself downward spiral to continue or trying to stop it at last.
