Since 1981, a federal employment has let Canadians hire foreigners as homecare workers. Filmed in Montréal and the Philippines, Bonnes à tout faire presents the intertwined lives of three homecare workers living in exile in Quebec, and of their families who have stayed behind. Through this intimate portrait of domestic workers—the largest migration of women in the world—we see the social conditions under which new immigrants must live and reflect on the occidental contemporary family.
