Established in 1957, SAS is world known for its high quality films made with different techniques that are borrowed from Chinese art forms, such as water ink painting, paper cutting or paper folding. Films such as Where is Mum, Monkey King’s Uproar in Heaven, Panda’s Store, Three Monks, Cowboy’s Flute, etc, have won SAS over 200 awards internationally and thus their reputation as “Disney of the Orient.” Some of these films are theatrically or DVD released in France, Spain or Japan.
